What is a Chakra workout exactly for CFS?
There are many ways to do a chakra workout. If you type this question into Google, you’ll find many results related to yoga and meditation techniques. While these are great, I take a slightly different approach. As a fitness trainer, I love movement—running, strength training, mobility, and relaxation training. By combining these elements, I discovered incredible results that transformed not only my physical health but also my energy levels, mindset, and overall well-being. This is especially crucial when managing Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).
A different approach for CFS recovery
My approach to a chakra workout is unique. For over a decade, I’ve been practicing my chakra routine and found that chakras are activated through the mind, emotions, and body. This means that by becoming aware of specific thoughts, feeling certain emotions, and moving particular body parts, we can influence energy flow.
Understanding the base chakra in CFS is essential. This chakra, located at the base of the spine, is responsible for grounding, stability, and physical vitality. Many people with CFS struggle with low energy, weakness, and feeling disconnected from their bodies. By working on the base chakra in CFS with mindful movement, we can begin to restore balance and improve our ability to use energy more efficiently.
Base Chakra activation for energy & vitality
The base chakra is directly linked to our ability to feel grounded and physically strong. If it is weak or blocked, you may experience chronic exhaustion, lack of motivation, and difficulty engaging in physical activity. However, activating this energy center through gentle cardio training can help regain vitality over time.
Example
- Belief: “I am a lazy person!”
- Feeling: Low energy, fatigue
- Chakra: The base chakra needs activation
- Action: The best way to activate the base chakra is through mindful, low-impact cardio exercises that match your current energy level.
- Benefits: This will also turn your belief around, that you are a lazy person.

The goal? To feel: “I am active!”
Even with CFS, you can rebuild your energy in a way that works for you. The key is sustainable movement, not pushing through exhaustion.
What activity can you do?
Here are some CFS-friendly cardio options that gently stimulate the base chakra: adjust pace based on energy levels, modify for low-impact if needed, and have the flexibility to rest as needed.
- Walking or gentle jogging
- Step exercises
- Circuit-style workouts
- Swimming
- Cycling
- Spinning
- Dance
Essential base chakra workout example
- Perform your workout three times a week, adjusting intensity based on how you feel.
- Approach it with a positive mindset and a willingness to shift your energy.
- Focus on small, consistent progress rather than overexertion.
What to expect in 3 months?
